Wedding Arrangements: Why It’s Important to Test Stuff

The best thing you can have when planning a wedding is a good solid reference to a reliable cater, dress maker, baker, florist DJ or anything else. Weddings aren’t the kind of event that you can afford a whole lot of mistakes with and the best way to get things just right is to take names from every woman you know who’s ever been a bride.

Think back to some of the best weddings you’ve ever attended and try and track down the caterer or the officiant or any other person who made the event special. With wedding arrangements a good reference can ensure you’ve got a reliable person doing a great job for your wedding. This holds particularly true for caterers. Even if you do a complete taste test of everything; it might look and taste very different when it’s being made in large quantities.
If there’s a restaurant that you like, ask them if they’ll cater for your wedding. They’re more likely to make great food for a lot of people than a small time caterer. You can get inspiration from anything special that you’ve eaten. A friend of mine once got a fruit bouquet as a gift and when she got married she remembered it and went online to check if they had bigger sizes that would work as centerpieces and they were what stood out the most in her wedding arrangements.

A florist is another person who has to be reliable; you need fresh flowers that have to be delivered on time and if you’re having the florist arrange the flowers and make all the bouquets for you then you should ask your friends for someone who’s provided great floral services for a huge event.
